Practice

Charlene A. Caldeira joined Rosenberg, Freedman & Goldstein LLP in 2007 as a partner. She came to the firm with extensive experience in a wide variety of family law issues and has focused on her family law practice since 1999, after she completed a 1 year clerkship at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Prior to joining RF&G, Charlene was an associate with Casner & Edwards, LLP. Prior to that, she was an associate at the law firm of Todd & Weld, LLP, where she practiced Family and Probate Law, Criminal Law and Appellate Law.

Professional Experience

Charlene's practice in Family Law encompasses all aspects of domestic relations litigation and probate litigation including:

  • Divorce and Divorce Modification actions;
  • Custody
  • Removal
  • Pre-nuptial & Post-nuptial agreements
  • Property divisions involving high net-worth individuals, family businesses (including S-Corporations), complex assets, and trust interests
  • Paternity and guardianships
  • Defending and obtaining 209A restraining orders
  • Collaborative Law

Additionally, Charlene has established herself as a premier Appellate attorney in Massachusetts. She has been co-counsel on several Appellate cases, including:
